Dr. Trilochan Singh’s highly critical appraisal of Yogi Bhajan kundalini Yoga may have prompted Bhajan's 3HO cult to isolate themselves from scholarly researchers. Scholarly report from University professor: Yogi Bhajan's Kundalini Yoga sect, "...has not provided particularly easy access to outside researchers..." Dr. Dusenbery says: "This relative lack of significant and sustained attention from scholars may, in part, be due to the fact that 3HO/Sikh Dharma has not provided particularly easy access to outside researchers – especially after Trilochan Singh’s highly critical appraisal of the Yogi Bhajan and his project (T. Singh 1977) and the negative publicity that ensued in the American media (Time Magazine article 1977)."
