"In a recent meeting of five head priests, a decision was taken that if anyone engraves tattoos of Sikh religious symbols such as ‘Ek Onkar’, ‘Khanda’ or ‘Siri Sahib’, then legal action will be taken against them under India's Section 295 of IPC (hurting religious sentiments)."

Many Sikhs feel that Brand deliberately hurts the religious feelings of Sikhs by the visible representation of a Sikh symbol on his body while practicing and teaching tantric yoga which is against Sikh teachings. "I don't think Sikhs need this kind of identification with a completely debauched personality like Russell Brand who a few minutes earlier just finished a raunchy performance filled with off color remarks, drug talk, sexual references, rape jokes and bleeped obscenities." says Gursant Singh http://gurmukhyoga.com/forum/index.php?id=578

The well known British comedian Russell Brand who wears a Sikh khanda on his arm while teaching Yogi Bhajan's tantric yoga workshops and is known for his raunchy performances might be found for arrest in Rishikesh at the next kundalini yoga retreat of Yogi Bhajan followers Harijiwan, Tej Kaur or Gurmukh Kaur.
