What will it take for Sikhs to start self-defense training with firearms after still another attack on a Sikh man in California yesterday? http://www.sikhnet.com/news/ca-sikh-man-attacked-after-vehicle-accident

In response to a brutal attack on a Sikh man yesterday, all Sikhs need concealed weapons permits & self defense training with handguns & assault rifles to stop hate attacks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvrNP2Cf48I

Guru Gobind Singh Ji commanded his Sikhs to carry the most portable and deadly weapons available, therefore why wouldn't it be incumbent on Sikhs to carry handguns in today's modern society where we face attackers and hate mongers who would destroy us like the Moghuls and Hindu Rajas of old?
"When all other means have failed, it is but lawful to take to the sword." "Without uncut hair and weapons do not come before me" ~ Guru Gobind Singh

My idea is to start a Sikh shooting team and eventually travel to Gurdwaras around the world to teach marksmanship & self-defense to Singhs & Kaurs. Specifically, air rifles are a good way to start learning riflery & marksmanship. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sikh-Shooting-Team-USA/130403307030647?fref=ts

Sardar Gursant Singh : Sikhs And The Religious Obligation To Remain Armed: A True Sikh must acquire knowledge of weapons. The Sikh nation is an armed nation of warrior saints. http://www.sikharchives.com/?p=18851

Sikhs And Arms
[1] Tyaar-e-tyaar : Maxim of Guru Gobind Singh Ji meaning ever ready

Commentary: Sikhs are required to be ever ready. Why? the circumstances of the world were too vitiated in 1699 for peaceful dialogue. The circumstances of the world remain too vitiated. There has been a constant parade of blood thirsty tyrants on the stage of world history since the dawn of time. Only the ascendancy of Sikhi can stop this parade of malcreants.

[2] Do not appear before me without unshorn hair or arms

Commentary: The Sikh Nation as envisioned by Guru Gobind Singh Ji is an armed nation of warrior saints. Weapons are not to be feared but are meant to be respected. They can render great virtuous service in the cause of truth, freedom and justice.

[3] The Khalsa must be fully armed at all times (Creation Of The Khalsa, 1699)

Commentary: Sikhs were required to wear the long sword which was the common weapon in 1699. The long sword was subsequently called kirpan (kirpa – service , an – that which). The appropriate Kirpan depends upon the era. The long sword is not the appropriate Kirpan of this day and age.

[4] Guru Gobind Singh Ji- in the epic composition Zafarnama (composed in the Jungles of Maachiwara): I used weapons of all types … Swords, Scimitars, daggers, weapons of all types, we worship these.

Commentary: Once again, the Sikh Nation as envisioned by Guru Gobind Singh Ji is an armed nation of warrior saints. Weapons are not to be feared but are meant to be respected. They can render great virtuous service in the cause of truth, freedom and justice.

[5] Guru Gobind Singh Ji (prayer offered to God): O Lord, grant me this one boon, that when my time comes to die, may I die in mighty strife on the battlefield.

Commentary: Prayer offered by Guru Gobind Singh Ji on the battlefield.

[6] When all peaceful means have failed, it is lawful to pick up up the sword.

Commentary: Direction given by Guru Gobind Singh to The Khalsa.

[7] I shall make the sparrow hunt the hawk and I shall make one man fight a legion, then only shall I be called Guru Gobind Singh.

Commentary: Statement uttered in the Jungles of Maachiwara upon hearing that his two sons aged 7 and 9 years had been entombed alive upon their refusal to convert to Islam.

[8] “I salute the weapons of ALL Names ||
I salute the Arms of ALL Kinds ||”

Commentary: Utterance of Guru Gobind Singh Ji : Zafarnameh

[9] Shubh Karman Tao Kadae Naa Darnaa : Do not refrain from doing righteous deeds.

Commentary: A true Sikh is never to refrain from doing righteous deeds. A true Sikh recognizes that there is no difference between life and death and must be fearless.

[10] Shaster Vidyaa Atae Ghorhae Di Savaari Da Abhiaas Karna : Practice and acquire knowledge of weaponry and horse riding.

Commentary: A True Sikh must acquire knowledge of weapons. The Sikh nation is an armed nation of warrior saints. Nowadays many Sikhs in the West keep motorcycles (iron stallions) in respect for this injunction.

[11] Dushman Naal Saam, Daam, Bhaed, Aadiak, Upaa Vartnae : Treat your enemies with respect (some obscure medieval words used)

Commentary: A True Sikh treats his enemy with honour, dignity and respect. He does not oppress and kill non-combatants, children or women. This principle is a consequence of the fundamental Sikh religious precept that God is present in all sentient beings. It was observed that when Guru Hargobind was on the battle field, he exhibited no emotions when fighting the enemy. Sikhs are not supposed to exult when the enemy is killed.

[12] Panj Kakaar Di Rehat Drirh Kar Rakhni – Follow the code of the 5 K’s strictly.

Commentary: The warrior code of the Khalsa must be followed strictly.

Not Convinced, then read the Rehutnama of Bhai Nand Lall Ji : The Rehitnama Of Bhai Nand Lall

Fateh Singh's comment in the pic shown in the video states that Sikhs should be afraid of being shot at if we carry a gun. This statement has to be the most cowardly statement I have ever heard from a so called Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Ji! That's like saying Sikhs shouldn't wear kirpans in fear that we would be knifed! All Sikhs should know that this pseudo Sikh, Fateh Singh who commented at the Sikh Shooting Team fb page implying that Sikhs should become poor defenseless victims, is part of the Yogi Bhajan bunch of cowards who promote tantric sex yoga and worship of idols. Do NOT be fooled by these cowardly cultists who only want to subsume Sikhi into Hinduism and allow Sikhs to become pacifist victims allowing a repeat of the genocide that took place in India where the Indian Government murdered defenseless Sikhs after taking their guns away. Please watch this video to see the truth about this anti- Sikh cult of Yogi Bhajan's! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-jyYw3fX38&feature=c4-overview&list=UUQDV5etGNZ9AnZ-3PnLklzw

Fateh Singh & his Yogi Bhajan tantra buddies over at SikhNet are trying to make Sikhs into cowards & pacifist victims: Guru Gobind Singh Ji is quite clear that Sikhs should use weapons of all kinds for defense. "Decrees from Guru Gobind Singh Ji state in the most vigorous and clear words that a Sikh's conception of God is the sword of dharma. Not only the sword but every weapon had become an attributive symbol of God for Sikhs."
"I salute the weapons of all Names ||

"Jab lag Khalsa rahe niara. tab lag tej dio mai sara.
